Available Positions

The department is seeking qualified professionals for the following three Deputy Director roles. Each position is offered on a one-year contract basis, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

1. Deputy Director (MIS and Software Development)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least a 2.5 CGPA or 2nd Division from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in software development and MIS.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern programming languages, cloud computing, ASP.NET framework, web/mobile development, and application security.

2. Deputy Director (Database and Analytics)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, or Information Systems.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in database administration or data analytics, preferably within the public sector.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark), and scripting languages like Python or Shell.

3. Deputy Director (Infrastructure and Operations)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in IT, Networking, System Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in infrastructure management, network operations, or system administration.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of server administration, virtualization, cloud hosting, network security, disaster recovery, and IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.

Eligibility and General Conditions

To be considered for these roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Domicile: Applicants must possess a Sindh Province Domicile (PRC).
  • Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 40 years as of the closing date of applications.
  • Contract: Initial appointment is for one year.
  • TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for tests or interviews.
