COMSATS University Islamabad Announces IT Career Opportunities (July 2026)
COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) has officially announced new career opportunities for highly skilled Information Technology professionals. According to the official advertisement, the university is inviting applications on an Open Merit basis for managerial and assistant managerial roles across multiple campuses.
Positions are available at the Islamabad campus, Wah campus, and the Principal Seat.
Vacant Positions and Eligibility Criteria
CUI is seeking qualified individuals for the following roles:

Preferred Technical Expertise
Candidates possessing strong expertise in modern software engineering and infrastructure management will be preferred. The required technical stack and competencies include:
- Development & Frameworks: Enterprise Application Development, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core / .NET 8/10.
- Databases & Architecture: SQL Server Database Design & Optimization, REST APIs, System Integration, Software Architecture, and Design Patterns.
- DevOps & Security: DevOps, CI/CD, Version Control Systems, Cybersecurity Best Practices, Cloud and On-Premises Application Deployment.
- Management: Project Management and Team Leadership.
Core Responsibilities
Manager (IT)
The selected candidates will lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of core university software systems (including ERP, HRMS, and Student Information Systems). Responsibilities include providing technical leadership to development teams, managing system architecture, ensuring application security and disaster recovery, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Assistant Manager (IT)
Assistant Managers will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of university applications while ensuring compliance with SDLC and coding standards. They will support technical teams, monitor progress under the guidance of the Manager IT, contribute to system reliability/backup management, and research emerging technologies.

- Dossier Submission: Send a hard copy of the printed online application form along with one set of application dossiers. This must include:
- HEC attested Terminal Degree / HEC Equivalency Certificate.
- Attested copies of all academic degrees/certificates (from Matric onwards).
- Attested copy of CNIC.
- All experience certificates.
- A recent passport-size photograph.
- Application Fee: Attach a non-refundable Pay Order / Demand Draft of Rs. 2000/- processing fee in favor of “COMSATS University Islamabad”.
- Government Employees: Candidates currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous organizations must apply through the proper channel.
