NAB Announces Contract-Based Hiring for Security, Clerical, and Transport Posts


The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has invited applications from Pakistani nationals for multiple contract positions at its headquarters and regional offices in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The vacancies, advertised under Section 28(b) of the National Accountability Ordinance 1999, are offered on a monthly fee basis for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Positions and Eligibility

NAB is seeking to fill three types of Assistant Supporting Personnel (ASP) roles:

· ASP-2 (Security Guard): Open to retired Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) or soldiers from the Pakistan Armed Forces or Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs). Candidates must have Medical Category-A, an exemplary character certificate, and a clean service record. The monthly fee is Rs. 71,500, with a maximum age limit of 48 years.
· ASP-2 (Clerk): Requires at least a graduate degree from a recognized institution, with preference for higher education. Applicants must have two years of working experience in a government or public sector organization and proficiency in computer handling. The monthly fee is Rs. 71,500, and the age limit is 42 years.
· ASP-3 (Transport Driver): Requires matriculation and a valid LTV driving license, along with a minimum of five years of driving experience. The monthly fee is Rs. 60,500, with a maximum age of 42 years.

Application Process

NAB has specified two distinct application methods based on the post:

· For Security Guard and Clerk positions (S.No. 1 & 2): Candidates must apply exclusively through the National Job Portal (NJP) at http://njp.gov.pk. Hard copy or postal applications for these posts will not be accepted. The deadline is June 4th, 2026.
· For the Transport Driver position (S.No. 3): Applicants are required to send their applications via post, using the prescribed form available on NAB’s website (https://nab.gov.pk/jobs.asp). Copies of academic or experience certificates should not be attached at this stage. Applications must reach the undersigned by June 4th, 2026.

Key Instructions for Applicants

The Bureau has outlined several important conditions:

· Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests or interviews.
· The positions are station-specific and non-transferable.
· Individuals with dual or foreign nationality are not eligible.
· No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the selection process.
· Final selection is subject to security clearance.
· The monthly fee is taxable under federal government policy.
· Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
