PESCO Announces Career Opportunities for 406 Contract Positions
The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO), a public sector utility under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), has announced multiple career openings for residents within its operational jurisdiction.
The company is inviting applications to fill a total of 406 contract positions on a lump sum pay package basis. These roles are extendable subject to satisfactory performance, with no possibility of regularization.

Key Terms & Conditions
· Contract Nature: Service is purely contractual with no future regularization.
· Age Relaxation: General relaxation is already included in the 18–30 year limit. No further relaxation is allowed except:
· Scheduled castes and Buddhist candidates: 3 years relaxation.

· Duty Location: Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under PESCO’s jurisdiction.
· Ineligibility: Dismissed or screened-out employees of any organization or those with a criminal record cannot apply. Concealment of facts leads to disqualification.
· No TA/DA will be paid for test/interview.
· PESCO reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
Application Process
· How to Apply: Submit an online application through the National Testing Services (NTS) portal at www.nts.org.pk within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
· Application Fee: Pay via Mobile Banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or TCS Express Counters. Only 16K Invoice payment will be accepted.
· No Direct Applications: Applications submitted by hand or post to PESCO HQ will not be entertained.
· Roll Number Slips: Will be dispatched by NTS at least one week before the test; candidates will also be informed via SMS.
· Degree Requirement: Only candidates who have completed their requisite degree are eligible. Those with results awaited will not be considered.
Important Note for PESCO Employees’ Children
Candidates who previously applied under the 20% Employee Children Quota to various PESCO offices must apply afresh against the open quota. Previously submitted applications will no longer be valid.
