Punjab Government Announces Recruitment for PMIU-PESRP Project “ASPIRE”
The Program Monitoring & Implementation Unit (PMIU), under the Punjab Education Sector Reforms Programme (PESRP) and the Government of the Punjab, has officially announced a new vacancy for its project titled “Actions to Strengthen Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education (ASPIRE)”.
This recruitment drive aims to hire a high-level professional for a two-year period to help drive the project’s goals of enhancing educational quality and responsiveness in the region.
Open Position: Manager (Implementation & Coordination)
The PMIU is seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Manager (Implementation & Coordination). This position is central to the ASPIRE project’s execution and requires a blend of academic excellence and extensive field experience.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates must meet the following stringent requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Applicants must possess at least a Master’s Degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in relevant fields such as Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public/Business Administration, Education Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Project Management. Degrees must be from local or foreign universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of verifiable relevant experience in either the public or private sectors is required.
- Specific Expertise: The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in the implementation of large-scale government or donor-funded programs, preferably within the education sector.
- Technical Skills: Experience in developing Annual Work Plans, designing concept notes, drafting proposals, and creating progress reports is essential.
