Punjab Safe Cities Authority Announces Major Recruitment Drive Under “New Police Culture”
The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has officially opened applications for a wide range of contract-based positions, signaling a major push to enhance its operational workforce. The announcement, titled “Beginning of a New Police Culture,” offers opportunities from high-level technical executives to essential support staff.
According to the advertisement, PSCA is seeking to fill both regular contract posts and short-term contractual vacancies across multiple cities in Punjab.
High-Level Technical Vacancies
On the executive side, the authority is offering lucrative salary packages for specialized IT and administrative roles. The highest-paying position is the Executive Officer of System Administration (Virtualization/Backup), with a monthly salary package of Rs. 323,810. Other key technical roles include a Deputy Executive Officer for System Administration (Rs. 200,000) and Junior Executive Officers for Archive and Works departments, each offering Rs. 100,000.
Short-Term Contractual Posts
The bulk of the vacancies fall under short-term contracts. The authority is looking for one Engineer (Transport) at Rs. 115,832 per month, alongside 26 Drivers (Motor Vehicle) with a salary of Rs. 47,424.
In a move to maintain its physical infrastructure, PSCA is also hiring skilled laborers including a Painter, Mason Mistry, Plumber, and Carpenter, all offering Rs. 45,945. Additionally, the organization requires a Cook/Khansama (Rs. 43,108) and nine Attendants (Rs. 40,000).
Geographic Distribution
The advertisement specifies that applications for Driver positions (Sr. No. 02) are invited from candidates in Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Taxila, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and several other districts. Meanwhile, Attendant positions (Sr. No. 08) are specifically for major cities including Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, and Bahawalpur.

Interested candidates have until June 23, 2026, to apply. The authority has established a dual application process:
· Online: Candidates for executive and higher-level posts must apply online via the PSCA website at www.psca.gop.pk/career.
· Hard Copy: Applicants for short-term contractual roles (Driver, Painter, Attendant, etc.) must submit physical applications.
PSCA has warned that incomplete applications, hand-delivered submissions (for online posts), or late submissions will not be entertained. Government employees must apply through the proper channel. The authority also notes that experience gained as an intern, apprentice, or on a part-time/honorary basis will not be counted.
