SMBB Institute of Trauma Announces Multiple Contract-Based Vacancies for Larkana Center

The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), a premier trauma care organization, has released a recruitment notice inviting applications from qualified candidates for various contractual positions at its Trauma and Surgical Emergency Center in Larkana.

Positions Available

The institute is seeking to fill ten distinct posts, each with specific qualification and experience requirements:

1. Emergency Physician: Requires an MRCP or equivalent, an FCPS in Medicine, Surgery, or Emergency Medicine, plus a valid PMDC registration. Post-qualification experience at a reputable hospital is preferred.
2. Resident Medical Officer (Emergency): Candidates must hold an FCPS (in Emergency Medicine, Medicine, or Surgery) and a valid PMDC registration. The upper age limit is 40 years.
3. Pharmacist: A Pharm-D degree with two years of similar experience in a reputable hospital and valid Pharmacy Council registration are required. Age limit: 35 years.
4. Medical Officer: MBBS with a completed House Job. Preference for those with hospital experience and a valid PMDC registration. Age limit: 35 years.
5. Staff Nurse: Must be a Registered Nurse with a Diploma in Nursing and valid PNC registration. Age limit: 40 years.
6. Computer Operator Cum Receptionist: Requires a graduate degree (2nd division) and a one-year Diploma in Information Technology from a board-recognized institute. Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) knowledge is preferred. Age limit: 35 years.
7. Nursing Assistant: Matriculation in Science with one year of relevant experience or a one-year Nursing Assistant/Aide course. Age limit: 30 years.
8. Radiology Assistant: Matriculation in Science with a diploma from a recognized medical faculty and three years of working experience at a reputable hospital. Age limit: 35 years.
9. Pharmacy Assistant: Holds a Diploma in Dispensary with three years of experience in a similar role at a reputable hospital. Age limit: 35 years.
10. Ward Boy: Matriculation pass; preference for candidates with prior relevant experience. Age limit: 30 years.

Key Terms & Conditions

· Application Number: After submitting the E-Form, applicants are advised to note down their application number for future reference.
· Contract Duration: Appointments will be on a contract basis for two years, renewable based on performance. The hiring cannot be used as a basis for regularization of the post.
