Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the BPS-18 Senior Registrar positions, candidates must meet stringent academic, practical, and research requirements:
- Basic Qualification: An MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PM&DC. Alternatively, an M.Sc. in a recognized university for basic sciences (for non-medical graduates).
- Postgraduate Qualification: High-tier postgraduate certifications such as FCPS, D.Sc., Ph.D., MD, MS, M.Phil, or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PM&DC in the respective subjects.
- Experience: Five years of teaching or practical experience before or after obtaining the postgraduate qualification. Preference will be given in the following order:
- Teaching experience
- Practical experience after postgraduate qualification
- Practical experience before postgraduate qualification
- Research: Credit will be awarded for original research work published in standard, recognized medical journals.
Important Terms & Conditions
- Government Employees: Candidates already serving in the government sector must apply through the proper channel. Provincial or Federal government employees with at least 2 years of regular, continuous service are eligible for an upper age relaxation of up to 10 years (maximum age limit of 55 years).
- General Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be granted in accordance with Federal Government Rules. Special quotas (Disable, Minority, Women, and Transgender) will also be strictly observed.
