Available Positions and Compensation
The department is inviting applications for two primary roles:
- Legal Advisor (Lahore): Offering a monthly retainership fee of Rs. 175,000/-.
- Assistant Legal Advisor (Rawalpindi): Offering a monthly retainership fee of Rs. 150,000/-.
Scope of Work
The selected legal professionals or law firms will be responsible for representing and defending cases on behalf of the J&K State Property in Pakistan before various courts and tribunals. The core responsibilities include:
- Providing sound legal opinions.
- Preparing pleadings.
- Assisting in complex matters relating to property, tenancy, land management, and estate administration.
Eligibility Criteria
As detailed, preference will be given to candidates who meet the following strict qualification standards:
- Valid License:
- Supreme Court of Pakistan license is mandatory for the Legal Advisor role.
- High Court license is required for the Assistant Legal Advisor role.
- Experience: Sufficient experience in civil litigation, with a strong focus on property, estate, tenancy, and land revenue matters.
- Education: Candidates must possess an LL.B. or LL.M. qualification.
- Professional Status: Candidates should be working independently or serving as a Senior Partner/Owner of a law firm.
- Clean Record: Applicants must possess good professional standing with absolutely no history of criminal records or professional misconduct.
