The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Trauma and Emergency Response Institute (TERI) in Quetta has officially announced multiple career opportunities for qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals. As detailed in the advertisement, the institute is looking to fill several positions on a purely contract basis to ensure the effective management and operation of its digital health systems, IT infrastructure, network services, security, legal matters, and nutritional activities.

Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria

1. Information Technology (IT) & Networking Roles

  • Director IT (1 Post): Requires a Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in IT management, alongside strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Server Administrator (1 Post): Requires a Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant IT management experience.
  • Network Administrator (1 Post): Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT management.
  • Networking Technicians (2 Posts): Open to candidates with an Intermediate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in IT management.

2. Administrative, Legal & Security Roles

  • Security Supervisor (1 Post): Open to Graduates or Bachelor’s degree holders in any field, though Security Management specialization and retired Military/Armed Forces personnel are preferred. Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience managing large-scale security operations or asset protection, alongside tactical organization and emergency planning skills.
  • Legal Advisor (1 Post): Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), Bar-at-Law, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Applicants must have at least 8 years of relevant experience in corporate legal advisory, regulatory compliance, and litigation management.

3. Nutrition & Dietary Roles

  • Nutritionist (1 Post): Requires a Bachelor’s degree (BS or BSc) in nutrition, dietetics, or a related science. A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical nutrition advisory, dietary planning, and metabolic healthcare management is mandatory.
  • Dietician (3 Posts): Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, or Human Nutrition (Registered Dietitian/RD credential preferred). Requires at least 4 years of experience in clinical dietetics, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and hospital-based patient care.
  • Food Technologist (1 Post): Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Engineering. Applicants must have at least 4 years of experience in food product development, quality assurance (QA/QC), and food safety management.
