The Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) Secretariat has officially announced new job openings for the position of Assistant Advisor. This recruitment drive is part of the institution’s ongoing efforts to enhance its capacity for redressing taxpayer grievances and addressing maladministration within the federal tax system.
Established under the Office of Federal Tax Ombudsman Ordinance, 2000, the FTO is mandated to investigate and rectify injustices in tax administration, providing relief to aggrieved taxpayers across Pakistan.
Job Details and Requirements
The Secretariat is looking for motivated and qualified professionals to join their team on a contract basis under Section 20 of the FTO Ordinance.
- Position: Assistant Advisor
- Monthly Salary: Rs. 120,000/-
- Contract Duration: 02 years (extendable)
- Age Limit: Up to 30 years
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess at least one of the following degrees/certifications:
- ACA, ACCA, or ACMA
- M.Com or MBA
- LLB
Preferred Skills
While the basic qualifications are mandatory, the FTO Secretariat has noted that preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
- A strong learning-oriented mindset.
- Relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
