CMT Announces Contractual Positions for Engineers
The Chief Minister Inspection Team (CMT) has issued a recruitment notice for five specialized engineers and technical experts to conduct Third Party Validation (TPV) of ongoing and completed development schemes under the PSOP initiative.
The positions are contractual, initially lasting 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance. The primary role of the selected engineers will be to evaluate PC-1 documents, verify compliance with approved designs and technical specifications, and ensure quality and quantity benchmarking across infrastructure projects.
Positions and Qualifications
CMT is seeking one Team Lead/Senior Engineer and four mid-level Civil Engineers across different disciplines:
· Team Lead / Senior Engineer (Civil/Infrastructure): Requires an MS in Civil Engineering with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience in infrastructure planning and construction management. Preference is given to candidates with 3 years of oversight experience in TPV or public sector projects.
· Mid-level Engineers (Buildings & Infrastructure): BS/BE in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
· Mid-level Engineers (Roads & Allied Infrastructure): BS/BE in Structural Engineering with 5 years of experience in roads, highways, and bridges.
· Mid-level Engineers (Irrigation & Water Resources): BS/BE in Water Resources or Hydrogeology with 5 years of experience in water sector projects.
For all mid-level roles, at least 1 year of monitoring or TPV experience in government or public sector projects is preferred.
Compensation and Logistics
The pay package is all-inclusive, with only the pay portion negotiable:
· Team Lead: Rs. 700,000 (pay) + Rs. 200,000 (logistics) per month.
· Support Engineers: Rs. 500,000 (pay) + Rs. 200,000 (logistics) per month.
Selected engineers will be responsible for their own office setup, transport, fuel, TA/DA, and field equipment, as no government vehicles will be provided. Candidates must have the physical capacity to travel extensively within the interior of Bashiristan for site validations.
Scope of Work and Deliverables
Engineers will be expected to evaluate PC-1 documents, identify discrepancies such as cost overruns and technical deviations, validate structural integrity and compliance, and recommend corrective actions. Deliverables include comprehensive field methodologies, data collection plans, and periodic validation reports submitted to the CMT Chairman. The maximum age limit for applicants is 65 years.
